# AI Home Design

DecorAI's AI Home Design redesigns a real home from photos of it. Upload a photo of a room, the
front of the house or the yard, pick a style or describe what you want, and DecorAI returns new
photorealistic versions of that same space. There is no floor plan to draw, no CAD model and no
measuring.

## What it does

- Works from one photo of any part of the home, taken on a phone or added from an image link
- Keeps the walls, doors, windows and room shape from the photo, and changes furniture, colors,
  materials and decor
- Returns up to 4 designs in about 30 seconds
- 175 styles: 54 interior, 67 exterior and 54 garden
- 20 AI tools and 129 space types across homes, businesses and events,
  on one subscription
- Lets you write your own description when no preset style fits
- 40M+ designs generated so far

## Editing tools

- Magic Edit Brush: brush over one area, such as a wall or a countertop, and describe the change
- Add or remove items: select an area to add an object or remove one
- Empty the room: remove all furniture to start a design from bare walls and floors
- Sketch to render: turn a hand-drawn sketch or a 3D model into a photorealistic render
- Change the sky or the time of day, for photos taken in poor light
- Expand the frame: extend the edges of a tight photo to show more of the space
- Upscale: increase the resolution of a design for printing or for a contractor
- Image to video and panorama: turn a design into a short video or a wide panoramic view
- Private mode: keep your photos and designs visible only to you, for every account

## How it differs from home design software

Floor plan and 3D tools ask you to build the house before they render it: draw the walls, place the
doors and windows, set the ceiling height. Starting from a photo skips that setup, because the photo
already shows the room. The trade-off is real: you get a picture of a new look, not a measured
drawing.

## Who uses it

Homeowners planning changes to more than one room. Renters who want to see options before they buy
furniture or paint. Designers and stagers showing a client several directions quickly. Real estate
agents showing what a property could look like, where the image must be labeled as digitally
altered.

## What it does not do

- It does not produce floor plans, scaled elevations, construction drawings or permit documents
- It does not measure anything, and it cannot tell you whether furniture fits
- It does not do structural, zoning or planning permission work
- It does not estimate cost, quantities or timelines
- It does not source or order products, so a rendered finish is not a product code or a paint code
- It does not design a house that does not exist yet. It needs a photo of a real space
- It is not a replacement for an architect, a designer or a contractor

## Pricing

There is no permanent free plan. A 1-day free trial includes
3 designs and requires a card. Nothing is charged during the trial, and it can
